Markthal Rotterdam

DCN is awarded a major project in the center of Rotterdam. DCN will execute the complete underwaterworks including placing reinforcement and underwaterconcrete. DCN will be working with Martens en Van Oord.

Liefkenshoek Rail Link Antwerp

The Liefkenshoek rail link is a direct rail link between the left and right banks of the River Scheldt in Antwerp, Belgium. It is intended to provide a solution for the expected large rise in goods transport by rail in the area.
The project comprises a 16.2km long double-track route from Bundel Zuid to the Antwerp North marshalling yard, which runs under three water bodies: the Waasland canal (through the already existing but never used Beverentunnel), the River Schelde and the Kanaal dock.

The 16.2km double-track rail link consists of 4.8km of embankment, 4.2km of open and covered trench, 1.2km of existing tunnel (re-opening of the already built but never used Beveren Tunnel) and almost 6km of double-bored tunnel with an internal diameter of 7.3m.

XFEL Hamburg

DCN completed all the cofferdams for Arge XFEL.

The European x-ray free electron laser (European XFEL) is an international project with 14 participating countries that is located in the German federal states of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. A free electron laser generates high-intensity electromagnetic radiation by accelerating electrons to relativistic speeds and directing them through special magnetic structures. The European XFEL is constructed such that the electrons produce x-ray light in synchronisation, resulting in high-intensity x-ray pulses with the properties of laser light and at intensities much brighter than those produced by conventional synchrotron light sources.

New Niederfinow Ship's Hoist

The “New Niederfinow Ship’s Hoist”  will meet the parameters of Class V European waterways and thus conform to the European standard that has been in force for over 30 years.
